Mr Toll, astronomy, earth and space. He was by far my favorite teacher.
Mrs. Minicucci (Store)
My favorite Brablec teacher was Mrs. Belk (The Roar). Not only was she a remarkable teacher, she was a mentor and friend. I often wonder how she, her husband and son are doing.
Without having to refer back to our yearbook, I quickly recall Mr Bleasdale (yes, I know I am bias toward my old coach and I was his T.A.) and also a teacher probably very few can remember...... Mrs. Glenn. She who drove the "little red corvette" was a business teacher whom I fondly remember. Also, remember "The Claud"?
I am kindly referring to Miss Varblow (first name Claudia). She may not have been a popular teacher, but she did a fine job, especially when it came to tying me into knots in Junior year Trig. Needless to say, I thought it to be in my best interest to forego that Senior year calculus class and negotiate a second Bleasdale T.A. gig. Mr. Latham taught drafting and I recall having a positive experience in his class, also. Well, just some food for thought.
wow .. its amazing that I can't think of anymore ... memory slips when your old :)
Ron Wangrid (not sure I spelled it right) Government
Mr.. Marafca (got the one wrong too I'm sure)- geometry / math
Mr. Belsdale - ???
I'll try to think of some more ...
Mark
Mr. Nummer is my fav. Very nice guy and an awesome teacher.
The worst: Ms. Varblow (Cee U NEXT TUESDAY)
Mr. Ward
Mr. Perkins
Mrs. Eickelberger
Hands down I agree Mr. Nummer is #1 and of course Mrs. Walker (who got fired for stealing from choir funds in '87) was my worst!
Best - Ms. Dunbar. I took her Latin and World Lit. classes. She was open and patient, and I enjoyed the subjects.
Least favorite - Mrs. Tasich. A little hostile, a little crazy. She still teaches in Roseville, so she must love what she does. She just didn't show it very well back then.
My favorite teacher in high school, I actually have two....one was Mr. Jones because he made learning fun and he never judged me....and secondly was Mrs.
Magee (the accounting teacher) I learned alot from her and I continued on in my life with an accounting background.
Mrs. Minnicucci- She was the best. She lead the retail dept/school store.
The rest I don’t really remember. I had four hours Senior year and she was two of them.
I loved Mr Buck - I had him for Social Studies - but I cant remember if I had him my Sr year???
I had Mr Adams for Drafting and History but not my Sr year...
hmmm still thinking.. LOL
FYI - Mr Merlo was my least favored teacher
My personal favorite was Mrs. Belk.
Ms. Rollet.
Approximately 25 seniors had her all four years and I'm sure they can agree the class was fun and her teaching was great.
Ms. Rollet....hands down.
I had her for all 4 years. Loved art.........it was my favorite
subject, still is. She gave me the most detentions too!!!, but I deserved it, (my smart mouth).
I respected her very much and I think about her to this
day.
Mr. Morofka (Math) He was my favorite even though he failed me.
What about Ms. Inke... who else made her cry?
Here are a few of the teachers I remember from Brablec:
Mr. Franquist - Anatomy
Mr. Toll - Physics
Ms. Varblow - Trig.
They are probably my three favorites because their classes were
interesting and\or I learned a lot from them.
As for the my teacher – I think in would be Mr. Dabbs because he always let his leave his classroom and never questioned why I was gone for most of the hour.
Mr. Toll was my favorite teacher because he was excited about his subject and it showed in his teaching style. I can’t remember my worst
Mr. Toll gets my vote, or Mr. Mike (band teacher).
Mr. Toll, One of the best teacher I've ever had.
Great dealing with students. Made science FUN.
How lucky we were to have a planetarium in our HS.
Mr. Adams taught me some life lessons.
Mr. Gibson Electronics teacher. Does anyone remember his favorite saying? "Just do it" and this was before NIKE...LOL
